LBCDC at a Glance

General Overview of Our Center
Our center is open from 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed for ten holidays including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, among others. We also close twice a year for two Professional Development Days for our staff.
Pricing varies based on age groups. There is a discount for prompt payment that is offered for parents as an incentive to pay tuition early! Please contact us with questions and inquiries.
Our staff is highly educated with education from high school diplomas all the way to Bachelor's degrees. Some staff are just starting their careers in child care and training is conducted daily by our more seasoned staff. All staff are required to complete a certain amount of training hours each year.

Our staff are highly trained professionals that participate in 10+ continued education and training hours each year. Most of our staff has obtained an Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education. All staff is trained according to the requirements laid out by the State of North Carolina. This includes the training for SIDS, CPR, First Aid, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Playground Safety, and Health & Safety, among others.

Overview of Our Programs

Infant/toddler program
Our Infant & Toddler Classrooms focus on positive direction, free play, and introduction to music and literacy.
Two-year-old care
In our Two-Year-Old Classroom, children develop a better sense of their emotions and environment. This classroom prepares children for a more structured program.
Preschool program
Our Preschool Program is what we are most known for. In this program, children learn the basics to prepare them for Kindergarten as well as grow knowledge of the outside world.
School-age program
Our School-age Program is designed to keep the "cool kids" entertained! This program offers the children a chance to build on self-help skills and develop a sense of independence.

Our Programs

Our programs are all based around the Creative Curriculum, which is built on the foundation of learning through play. We find that learning best occurs during and around play because chldren actively display an understanding of what they have been taught during a more structured time of learning.

Amazing Facility

Our facility has six spacious classrooms and 4 adventure-packed playgrounds that separate age groups into environments that are both safe and developmentally appropriate for the age group. We have 19 highly educated team members that love and educate within each classroom.
